20:11:00 - macTV #020 - Trafford Centre Grand Opening (Exclusive)

I always get in too late (or actually iTunes is so useless at downloading podCasts when they first get put up) that macTV #20 - the exclusive video from the opening of the Trafford Apple Store had been served a takedown by Apple when I tried to get to it.

After reading the intro..
This is the mother of all macTV Exclusives - The internal grand opening video from the Apple Store Trafford (Manchester, UK). It doesn't get any better than this guys. Well, it does, because check out the HD version...

I really wanted to watch it ... Veoh has it tho:

15:28:00 - "Alphabet-soup technologies"

ZDnet article that mentions the term.

Heh, slightly amused - obviously I don't read widely enough - but neither me nor Google have a definition for this apparently widely used phrase:

"Alphabet-soup technologies"

The phrase alphabet-soup often refers to the increasing number of technologies that are referred to by often bewildering acronyms.

I'll try and spew forth a few that I can think of. and might add in definitons. Or you can just go to the Acronym Finder -- "Acronym Finder exists purely to unravel the bewildering range of acronyms that impact daily life"

We used to only have to remember a few, HTML, MP3, IRC, FTP.. then we got P2P, CSS, XML, ICQ, MSN, AIM, and along came the RIAA, the RIANZ, SWAT and PIGS, and took our DVDs and CDs...

Ok, Getting carried away.

Which acronyms to you have to deal with in your daily life?
